About the Student Senate

 

Senate is definately the place to be if you're looking to make the most of your time at URI. The Senate experience combines leadership, service, and fun. Not only will the work you do affect your fellow students and the University as a whole, but you will learn valuable professional skills that prepare you for post-college life while developing relationships with faculty, administrators and the surrounding community.
 
As a Senator you are connected to the central hub of student life at the University of Rhode Island-- working with student groups, planning campus events, making decisions, and supporting your fellow students. At the end of the day, you will also be a part of a close group of friends and make memories that will last for years to come.
